Sherley De Deurwaerder
I focus on economic issues because they reveal how we treat one another – even though the field often pretends to be more complicated than it really is. I'm drawn to historical detours, to the stories behind change, and to the people who either drive it or bear the brunt of it. And when I write, I try to make these connections clear and accessible – and a little warmer than economics usually expects.
