Sherley De Deurwaerder
Nothing exists in isolation. This also applies to economic questions: they are more than just stodgy numbers and graphs. I like to put my finger on the interconnectedness of the economy with culture and society – how we adapt, respond, and sometimes resist to change (or the lack thereof). To do so, meeting people with curiosity and respect, carefully hearing out their stories, is non-negotiable to the journalistic sensibility I intend to practice.
