Loverboy – sounds nice and romantic. At first glance. But behind this notion hides a fake love, which forces girls and women into prostitution. Two employees of a support centre in Luxembourg report.

The claim that prostitution is the oldest trade in the world has already been criticized several times by the accompanying trivialization of women's suffering (as if it were normal because prostitution has always existed and so no one would be willing to change it) and refuted by many historical facts. Nevertheless, even this industry has to keep coming up with something new to keep attracting young girls and women. Possibly one reason why the loverboy tactic might have emerged.
