The maker with a tailored suit

Pascal Zimmer has tried many things and taken many risks. The entrepreneur, dandy, craftsman and former judo champion has retained his self-taught curiosity and approaches his life with a mixture of courage, enthusiasm and probably also naivety, as he says himself.

Unfortunately, the café in the city centre where we were supposed to have our conversation is still closed at this time. As we can't think of any other place where we can talk to each other in peace and take the right photos, we decide to drive to Bettembourg. The entrepreneur and dandy Pascal Zimmer not only has his office there in the former Celula building, but also his shop and fitness studio, although the whole thing is more of a cabinet of curiosities that you would love to lose yourself in all day.

To get to Bettembourg, we take our photographer's car, as Zimmer, who is actually a car enthusiast and a fan of classic and beautiful cars, doesn't have a car that we could all fit into on this particular morning. And by all of us, we mean us and our interview partner as well as Churchill, Zimmer's dog – a young, cute teenager who, having arrived in Bettembourg on his own turf, immediately romps around like there's no tomorrow. On the return journey to the capital, for which we take the train – our photographer and his car have left in the meantime – Churchill has calmed down again.
