A glimpse into the discreet world of luxury service providers

Following Tom Meyer on social media is like taking a curated journey through fine dining, luxury hotels, and exclusive destinations. As chairman of the Concierge Circle Luxembourg, Meyer offers insights into an evolving industry – from the traditional hotel front desk to the discreet multitasker serving the ultra-wealthy.
If punctuality is the courtesy of kings, then Tom Meyer is a king. Shortly before our agreed meeting, he sends us a text message telling us that he might be a few minutes late – might be. The chairman of the Concierge Circle arrives at Hotel Le Place d'Armes right on time, of course.
Anyone wondering what the Concierge Circle Luxembourg is all about should know that it is a non-profit organisation that promotes the profession of concierge and private concierge. The association also promotes the professional integration of young talents in the luxury hotel and restaurant sectors, recommends brands from the luxury goods industry, and organises exclusive events and gourmet and discovery trips under the name Table du Concierge and Concierge City Trip, as Tom Meyer, initiator, founding member and President of the Executive Council of the Concierge Circle Luxembourg, explains to us.
"At the Table du Concierge and the Concierge City Trip, people can see and experience things that they wouldn't normally be able to book, but these events are open to everyone. For example, we travelled from Vienna to Paris on the Orient Express or organised a spectacular dinner in historical costumes in the former flat of the Bonaparte family in the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris. These are events that are very difficult to book as an individual. It's easier as a Concierge Circle."
