Iranians in Luxembourg hope for the end of the Islamic Republic, but the opposition is already divided over the outcome of the fall of the regime, with the Shah's son, Reza Pahlavi, coveting the throne.

It's common to see a handful of Iranian protesters at Place Clairefontaine calling for the fall of the mullahs' regime, whether at a time of heated unrest in Tehran or not. But in recent weeks, as the regime has carried out an unprecedented crackdown on protests sparked by the high cost of living in Iran, the atmosphere around these gatherings in Luxembourg has changed, even giving rise to tensions between groups with different ideas.
