Jean-Claude Juncker – Brexit

The former Prime Minister of Luxembourg and President of the Euro Group was also President of the European Commission from 2014 to 2019. In 2015, he led negotiations with the British Prime Minister David Cameron on the UK's remaining in the EU, which, however, failed to avoid Brexit. Under the presidency of Jean-Claude Juncker, no agreement was reached with the UK afterwards either.
