Every year, tens of thousands of companies file their annual accounts late - or not at all. This is a credibility issue for Luxembourg Business Registers, which will soon be equipped with new resources to track down offenders.
While the 2025 budget monopolised the debates and attention at the last plenary session of 2024 in the Chamber of Deputies, another law was passed unanimously without a fight, adding a new touch to the family of registers managed by Luxembourg Business Registers (LBR) and already reshaped by several reforms over the last ten years (see box).
